How have you been cleaning them? I normally just use bleach...

Bleach will destroy them over time, it's best to boil them multiple times and take a toothbrush to them

Yeah, this is the one that's been cleaned-and yep, I used bleach, but I heard that it's a big no-no, and using peroxide and hot water keeps it from flaking and getting weak-which is what bleach does.

I may try to paint on the smaller, more eroded ones for practice. I've never painted on a skull before, but that is an idea.
