To clarify now, these are my little critters (some of these examples are owned by other people)
In the past I've sold 'adoptables' of these guys. I created designs and color patterns ect and sold them. I've also done custom Feonixes where people have some freedom on what they want their design to look like.
I am going to be doing what I'm doing so if there are people out there that want one of my critters, they can. But please be respectful of a few guidelines. Feonixes are not 'sparkledogs' or have some chunk of hair on their heads and I'd like it to stay this way.
What does this mean? Feonixes are an open species. This means you can create one, put it in your story, draw it once and never draw it again, ectect. The only thing I ask you to do after you create one is to credit me in some fashion.
Please do not make adoptables, variations, and designs to sell for your profit. I am OK with people commissioning artists to draw their Feonix, but do not create Feonixes to sell.
They are MANX by default (no tail! A feather tail would be okay), although I do create and make Feonixes with tails now.
Feathers, of course. You can throw them where you like, just make it look natural and like it could work. Think of fancy fowl and birds of paradise. Try to incorporate some type of natural element in feather placement. Not all Feonixes must have the long feathers, they can be shorter/patternized/few/many. This choice is up to you.
NO hair on the head.
They can have accessories if you want. Bangles/tribal stuff is super cool and I don't mind this at all. You can get crazy if you want and have them wearing a scarf and top hat ect if it fits with your story line. TBH I don't care what you do here.
Have fun and show me your Feonixes when you post them.
edit 2015: I will be making a chart guide for reference soon
